HOME AND GARDEN LANDSCAPING
Hello folks, I would like to say that my home and garden experience has been much more fulfilling than my work as a High Voltage Electrical contractor doing what Power companies do, You know Poles, towers , substations and etc. I won’t bore you with all that. What I really enjoyed was my home and garden, building different projects with wood and metal. Learning to use the power tools and prefect the use of them, kind of like a artist would do while painting. I found that the more tools I used the more I enjoyed the home and garden part of my life. I started out building decks, then things for landscaping , then doing some remodeling on my house. It was all a lot of mind searching as I got a lot of my ideas out of the home and garden magazine. It was slow and it took a lot of hitting my thumb with a hammer, but I really enjoyed it when I was done with a project. You can save a lot of time and mistakes today CLICK HERE and download 16,000 plans for just $67.00. Today I look back at all of these projects and really feel fulfilled, it was a lot of work but for me it was fun. I have since built my own house, very large barn. 9000 gal Koi pond, a couple of massive decks, one out over a canyon, also a small RV park. The Koi pond in the water garden was 15′ by 10′ and dug out to 6′ all by hand with my son and I. As how to build a Koi pond you really should get instructions. There is a lot of have to-s about it. You can go to my page on how to build a koi pond and for $19.97 you can get a complete ebook downloaded. The water garden is so soothing and peaceful to sit by and relax. When I moved to the desert I had to start my home and garden quest again. I found out wood was not a friend. It just dries up and twist and turns as it dries out. I loved the desert for all the wild life and the peace and quite but you have to be aware that projects are approached much differently. Landscaping was a blast as to conserving on water and what kind of plants will survive the heat, sun, cold nights. I went to building with metal, learned how to weld and boy did I like that.Yes I was still contracting electrical work. Working with metal is so much more accurate , after you are done it stays the way you build it. Oh yes you have to keep it painted but it will not fall down, done properly. All of this is why I am kind of interested in passing along the aids and helpful learning tools I didn’t have back in the day…. We are so lucky to have computers and world wide communication today. We can just go on line and buy plans to build just about anything that has to do with home and garden. Boy would that have helped me. maybe my thumb wouldn’t be so sore from hitting it all the time.
